Hey there itchy feet! Have you heard about the new zip line in the news? You're all packed and ready to go? Hold on. See what we have to say and then you decide. Wondering how we make our ratings? Check out our rating table here

Accessibility 4
For accessibility, the zip line and its attractions get a 4 out of 4 from us. There was no difficulty in finding or reaching the location. It is always a good idea to procure your own personal transportation but commuting is not a problem for this location. You must be wary though of the tactics of the driver whose vehicle you are commissioning. For example, it is understandable if you would commute from Ala-uli to the zip line parking lot because that would be a five kilometer distance, but say you were for some reason at the Mt. Samat Entrance Arch, you don't need to be the fittest to be able to hike the distance from the Arch to the parking lot. And take our word for it, when you do get to the zip line, you would realize you really didn't need to hurry. More about that coming up.

Enjoyment 2
Sadly, for enjoyment, the zip line only gets a 2 out of 4 from us. Not because it wasn't a thrilling ride, believe me, its a ride that will make the faint of heart cry, but because of the inconveniences you will have to endure for that forty seconds of thrill and fun. If, and this is a big if, they don't make improvements. To start, the zip line, takes forever, especially if there's a lot of people lined up. You can know more about this by checking out our accompanying post for this review under the label How It Was For Us.

There are only a few restrictions to the ride, obviously, health conditions are one of them, along with the too small and the too young to understand or follow instructions. For now, we reserve the zip line for devoted tourists or people who would not mind the inconveniences just to do the zip line. Take our word for it, consider this a whole day event, bring food, bring fluids, have something to keep you busy while you wait your turn, bring sunscreen, and a lot of patience.

Cost 2
The zip line also performs poorly for our standard for cost. Expect to cash out at least P450 per head. And if you're commuting, it doesn't even include your fare going to the zip line parking lot and back to the city. On our trip we ended up cashing out more than P700 per person, due in part to our gullibility to tricycle drivers.

P.S.
We believe this attraction has a lot of potential for improvement. They have just started so hang-ups are to be expected. We will revisit this attraction again in the future, for now though, our verdict stands. Go if you must, though we don't recommended it just yet, but if you really do insist, be prepared.

Are you ready to see this view in person?

  1. Hi, I'm a bit curious about your blog here. What would you recommend as improvement to this attraction to gather more people? I recon the place is a far cry from other zip lines, but are there any other activities in the area besides this?
